Y'all may be seeing this jumpsuit again! I know.. I know it is probably against blogger rules! But I just love how versatile it is....which means.... it would make it perfect for a Two Way Tuesday!  It is such a classic jumpsuit that can be paired with fun accessories to make it a little funky, or paired with simple accessories to give it the elegant look like in the pictures above!  I chose the more simple accessories this time around since I just got my hair dyed and let's face it.. the bright red color makes it its own accessory! And I was dying to wear my new earrings!!!! :)  So, what do y'all think?  Are you loving the jumpsuits as much as I am?

I want to thank all of the gorgeous ladies that filled in for me last week and this Monday! I know y'all enjoyed their posts because they are all just so fabulous, how could you not?!  I actually got back Saturday, but was out of commission with a kidney infection.  Not such great timing Miss Kidney Infection! I am finally feeling much better, and I am soooo excited to get a post up! Oh boy have I missed the blogging world!

How precious is this dress?!?  I fell in love with the bright colors and the fun feel it has to it.  It reminds me of something straight out of Alice in Wonderland.
Thank you all for checking in and stay tuned for vacation pictures and DIY projects! Hope you all have a great week!

Fall Transition: Stripes + Floral

Hey, girls! My name is Anna and I am the author of A Lily Love Affair blog.  I am so thrilled to be taking over Pretty Little Pursuits today while Brittney is off enjoying some R&R! I'm so excited to share a bit of my own style with you all in today's post!

I am located in Chicago and while we're still experiencing some fairly warm summer days, the last week or so has ushered in some cooler nights.  Starting today on A Lily Love Affair, I will be sharing tips with readers on how to take your favorite summer wardrobe staples and transition them into Fall as the temperatures cool.  I wanted to the opportunity for this post to share those similar tips with Brittney's readers.

This stripe skirt from Banana Republic is absolutely one of my favorites!  I love the navy and white stripes for it's versatility and endless styling possibilities!  For this post, I partnered it with a sleeveless button down top, a bright colored sweater, silver heels for a bit of pizzaz and one of my favorite floral clutches to bring all of the colors together.  To see how I styled the look for summer, head over to A Lily Love Affair.

Thank you so much, again, to Brittney for allowing me to share my style with you all today!  I'm sure I speak for everyone when I say we cannot wait for her to return!  I can't wait to see all of the pictures from her trip!

Happy Monday!

XOXO,
Anna

vacation envy

Hey y'all! I'm so excited the gorgeous Brittney has invited me to guest post while she is away in paradise! My name is Kirby and I am a fellow fashion blogger and friend of Brittney's. I also am a preschool special education teacher like Brittney so we share many similar interests and loves. To see more of my style posts hop on over to Southern Accents Blog!

I have to admit how envious I am of Brittney's vacation to one of my favorite places, and that jealousy came out in the styling of my post! :)
I found myself wanting to go with styles that would be perfect for beach and resort wear. One of my favorite parts of vacation is to style new outfits for each night I'm away. It definitely adds to our vacation budget but who wants to be in paradise and not feel great about what you're wearing? The following is my idea of a perfect outfit for a sunset dinner at a resort...

Dress: Belvedere Boutique-out of stock (similar, also craving this adorable maxi from Belvedere) // Clutch: JCrew (craving) // Sunglasses: Kenneth Cole Reaction (similar, dying for these) // Earrings: gift (similar here & here) // Wedges: Calvin Klein, old (similar, craving) // Watch: MK // Bracelet: Stella & Dot  // Cuff: Vestique (love this similar look

Happy shopping y'all!

OOTD -Floral Maxi

Hello there! I am taking over Brittney's blog today while she's on vacay! I have to admit, I am a little jealous!
I blog over at Made In The Shade Blog! On Wednesdays, I usually do an Outfit Of The Day post, so I am carrying that tradition over to Brittney's blog too. Just to give you a little bit about me, I am a registered nurse and am married to a nurse too! We have a chocolate lab, Ollie, who is 2! I also have an etsy shop, which you can find here ---> Made In The Shade Shop !

I am sure some of my regular readers have noticed that I am obsessed with anything maxi. Maxi skirts, maxi dresses - all of the above! So I was so excited to find this skirt, and on sale no less! That's my kind of shopping.

Skirt: Dottie Couture Boutique // Tank: Forever 21 // Necklace: Forever 21 // Bracelet: Charming Charlie // Bag: Francesca's // Sandals: Charlotte Russe

I have a feeling this will be a go to maxi skirt throughout the fall, not just the summer. How cute would this be paired with a tee and scarf?! Dottie Couture has quickly become one of my favorite little boutiques to shop at, and I love that it's one in town that I can actually go in. You can still shop online if you aren't close, and they have some great online sales if you follow them on instagram!
We're halfway through the week today - yay! And I am currently working my first day shift as you read this - send me some good vibes!

Don't forget to come back to Made In The Shade Blog tomorrow - sales will be announced for a collaborative Etsy sale from my own shop and some of my other favorite bloggers who have Etsy shops as well!

Happy Wednesday Girls!

Red Details :: #HowISummer Link-Up

denim-shirt-and-grey-denim-with-red-heels-miami-fashion-blogger-1Hey guys! Rachelle here from PinkSole and I am taking over Brittney's blog today while she's having some fun in the sun. I live in South Florida and it is pretty hot here, so I decided to invest in lightweight chambray shirt since there's no way I could wear my regular ones in this heat. I love denim and I've done many denim on denim outfits, but this time I am mixing light grey jeans with a light blue shirt. I paired this simple look with sexy red heels and clutch. These Vince Camuto heels are extremely comfortable and super easy to walk in I swear.
Special thank you to Brittney for having me and I am hosting my Monday link-up so feel free to share your posts below. Have a great day ladies xoxo.denim-shirt-and-grey-denim-with-red-heels-miami-fashion-blogger-2 denim-shirt-and-grey-denim-with-red-heels-miami-fashion-blogger-3 denim-shirt-and-grey-denim-with-red-heels-miami-fashion-blogger-4 denim-shirt-and-grey-denim-with-red-heels-miami-fashion-blogger-5 denim-shirt-and-grey-denim-with-red-heels-miami-fashion-blogger-6

To be be very honest... I was not too sure about this Chambray Jumpsuit.   I thought it was way more than I could pull off.  But.... when I went into my fav boutique (NOJ) the gorgeous Miss Ashley made me try it on- and thankfully so!! As soon as I put it on, I fell in love with it.  It just has such a casual fun look to it.  I was trying to save it for my vacation trip next week, but I just couldn't!!  Even though I am obsessed with my skinny jeans- I have always still loved a really big wide leg pant! I love how the wide legs look with the strapless top and cinched waist.  It will definitely be taking a ride in my suitcase this weekend!  If you like this look, check out NOJ's Facebook page to order this precious jumpsuit at a very affordable price!

On a completely different note lovely readers... It has been quite the month! I am sooooo excited to be going on vacation and it was a hard struggle for me to decide if I would be bringing the computer to blog or simply just relax and enjoy my vacation.  I bet you can guess what I decided! :)  Don't worry though, next week will probably be the most exciting week on the blog I have had so far.  I have asked my most favorite blogger ladies to take over the blog next week.  So stay tuned to meet some amazingly adorable women and fun blogs to follow!

See you when I get back! :)

Check out Tisket to make online shopping fun!

I am absolutely beyond excited to share with y'all the collaboration I have been working on with eShakti.com!! If you haven't heard about them yet, you are in for a big treat!  They are the only online women's apparel company that offers sizes 0-36W... and wait it gets even better! You can customize it!!!!! When I am shopping I always tend to want to tweak pieces so that they fit my own body and taste perfectly.  Unfortunately... I always end up settling for what is in the store but not any more!!!!!  At eShakti I was able to customize this dress exactly how I wanted it.  There were so many options I couldn't believe it.  I had the option to change the length of the dress, the neckline shape and scoop depth, sleeve length,  embellishment options, and more! I know it sounds too good to be true, right?! Wrong! You even use your measurements so they make the dress to fit perfectly to your body! Okay and one more thing to brag about- the PRICES!!! All of their items are extremely affordable.  Affordable and Custom are usually two words that just never go together, but at eShakti.com they do!
You must go take a look for yourself.

I promise I would never recommend something I don't love! Also, I was so excited about this collaboration, I wanted to make sure I got a little treat for y'all as well.  They agreed that since I have such amazingly wonderful readers, y'all deserved a coupon code exclusively just for you! If you visit their site and find something you like, use the code britpursuits at checkout to receive 10% off your purchase.  The code is good through 8/03/14 so make sure you take advantage of it!

Completely off topic.. but how amazing is this hair color?!  I have to give a shout out to the gorgeous Miss Erica Cole at Eclipse Salon.  The atmosphere is great, the stylist are amazing, and the prices are extremely affordable! If you live in the area you should definitely check them out.  But.. you may want to do it soon! They are a new salon, and I promise you they will start booking up like crazy!

Thanks for stopping by lovelies!
