This lovely FREEZING weather has been so kind and has given me two extra days off of work!  Thank you to both the South and to the ICE!  With all this extra time on my hands, I was able to hand address all of my Save The Dates and FINALLY get them in the mail, make some catering decisions, and possibly worked on some DIY presents for some of my favorite ladies in my life.  Oh and get a post up!! Wahoo... I am feeling so accomplished right now.  I will even have some DIY projects coming up on the blog for those newly engaged ladies!  Stay tuned for that possibly next week!

Ps.  I wore this outfit last week when the weather was some what warmer.  Lately, I have been so layered and bundled up I feel like the little kid from A Christmas Story.

Happy Monday loves! I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas!  I was so worried about getting a post up last week, through all the traveling, shopping, and long to do lists a little panic and anxiety set in.  I was getting so tied up in trying to get everything done, I finally realized I just needed to stop and let go.  Soo... I did!  And let me tell you.. It has been so nice! I have been able to relax and thoroughly enjoy some much needed family time.  Our families are so spread out all over the country these days, so when we actually all get together it is just so refreshing.  We celebrated Christmas in South Carolina a little early, and then flew out to Arizona, and now we are in California! There really is nothing sweeter than being with loved ones.  Our holidays have been filled with lots of love, laughter, story telling, and reminiscing.  I hope you all had just as an amazing holiday, and decided like me to just let go and enjoy everything that was going on around you!

Feeling Fuzzy

My absolute favorite thing to wear during the cold winter months are fleece lined leggings!! They are the most comfortable things to wear (right up there with oversized sweatpants in my book).  They are also extremely warm.  My favorite pair are from Urban Proper and they are only $12!  This weekend we had a drastic temperature drop... all the way to the way down to the twenties! Eeeeek... I wasn't prepared and ended up doing a wardrobe change half way through the day.  The first thing I ran to were these leggings, then my fuzzy sweater, and boot socks. Much more cozy! I bought this sweater on sale in the Spring, and could not wait to pull it out of the closet! Since I got it on sale in the Spring, of course they no longer had it, but I found the precious option below at Forever 21 for under $25!!!!

Lions, and Tigers, and ... Prints?! Oh my!  

I absolutely love experimenting with fashion!  I love to pull out the most random items of clothing in my closet, and then try to pair them together somehow.  I think my favorite outfits are created when I have absolutely no idea what I am doing.  My favorite is pairing complete opposites together, and then realizing they were actually perfect for each other.  And that is exactly how I felt about this leopard print tank, and my super comfy plaid scarf.  Plaid + Leopard = Perfection! What are your favorite prints to pair together?!  I love getting new ideas!
