I DO I DO I DO!

I could not have imagined a more amazing wedding day.  After months and months of planning, major melt downs, long nights, and all of the anticipation our wedding day finally arrived! And then in a blink of an eye it was already over.  I was so excited to get our pictures back so that I could relive our special day.  Our photographer did not disappoint!!! {Photo Cred: Josh Wilson Photography}

I may be a little biased but I LOVED how everything turned out.  There is no way that any of this would have been possible with out our family and our friends.  Everyone worked so hard to make sure we had the wedding of our dreams.  We are truly blessed with amazing friendships and loved ones!

We also were so thankful to have Crystal Williams from Crystal Williams Events and Dee Barnes step in as our wedding coordinators the day before our wedding.  We could not have done this without them!

Thanks for checking in!

ALMOST FOUR MONTHS!!!

Yep.. that is how long it has been since I have sat down on my cute little computer and logged into my blogger account.  I know I know.. it is just not acceptable!  I really have no excuse for the lack of blogging other than life has been getting in the way.

 Let me just give you a quick snip it of my life lately....

Wedding=Complete Success
 New Last Name= Loads of Paperwork
Home Renovations= New Passion Discovered
Move=Fun City Explorations
Marriage=Amazing New Adventure
Beginning of a New School Year=PURE EXHAUSTION

I guess you could say my life is just a little different than the last time I posted.  I cannot wait to catch you all up on EVERYTHING.  But... Since that would take one extremely long blog post, I will break it up for you.  First and foremost- WEDDING PICTURES!

Our wedding was beyond perfect and so much better than I could have even imagined.  So, yes maybe we got married in a hurricane, but that didn't even put a "damp"er on our day { <--- Did you see what I did there? ;) }

I have soooo many pictures I would like to share, so I think I will just do it in parts.  This first part will focus on the fashion, jewelry, and hair/makeup!

Heirlooms Finds | Jewelry
Blondies | Hair and Makeup
Cahaly's | Menswear
Adrianna Papell | Bridesmaid Dresses
Bridals By Lori | Wedding Dress
Valentino | Shoes

And a HUGE shout out to Josh Wilson Photography for the amazing pictures!

I would like to also especially thank Heirloom Finds for allowing me the opportunity to collaborate with them on creating a wedding collection.  It was so exciting working with them to pick out the jewelry for my bridesmaids and the jewelry I wore for my big day.  They were beyond patient with me as we went back and forth again and again in order to create the perfect look.  Even after everything was finalized and then I hit them with a challenge.  My grandmother passed away not to long before my wedding day, and I was given her bracelet to wear.  Heirloom Finds found the perfect pieces to match her bracelet.  They went above and beyond and truly made my day such a special one!

SOOOO.. In honor of being back in blogger business, AND as a huge thank you to the AMAZING Heirloom Finds.  I would like to host a giveaway...

Winter Wonderland Wishing

In order to truly appreciate these pictures,  I must tell you the story behind them.

My little sister is an extremely talented artist and photographer.  When she has some free time in her busy schedule, she often takes pictures for the blog.  So naturally, we wanted her to take our engagement photos.  All I could picture for the setting was snow and a picnic.  Crazy, I know!   Snow would be close to impossible, so instead we settled for a picnic in the red rocks.  Since my parents live in Sedona, AZ,  we decided to wait to take our photos over the Christmas break.  We knew we were pushing it because we needed them for our Save the Date and according to all of the wedding planning websites, those were suppose to go out 6-7 months before the wedding... Hmm..

We get to Arizona, and decided to take a little hike up the red rocks in Sedona for our pictures.  We got some really gorgeous shots, but we didn't get the picnic shots that I had stuck in my head.  We planned on going out the next day, but my poor little sis got sick, and then left for Italy the following day.  Panic set in and I remembered my older sister having gorgeous engagement photos in the Sedona area, so I had her contact her photographer.  Our fingers were crossed that she would be open and willing to do it with a four or so day notice.  Thankfully she is absolutely amazing and fit us in before a wedding she was shooting.

Fast forward to two days before...a "freak" snowstorm hits Sedona!  Even better- Michelle told us it would be nearly impossible to get some of the pictures we wanted because Crescent Moon Ranch always extremely crowded as it was one of the most photographed places in the southwest.  But guess what?  When we got there, it was EMPTY! Not one person was there.

I honestly do not know how we got so lucky.  To be even more honest, everything with our wedding seems to be going this way.  (I better knock on some wood.)

Michelle from Michelle Lee Photography was absolutely amazing to work with and made us feel extremely comfortable.  We wanted to be taken back to that day of laughter and happiness every time we looked at our photos.  We have no doubt in our mind that for years to come these photos will do just that.  We could not be any happier.  They surpassed anything we could have even imagined.

ALERT: Picture overload!  Y'all I just could not decide!  Also, visit Michelle's blog if you would like to view even more!

I was going to wait to post these until everyone received their Save the Date, but I just couldn't wait to share them!! Save the Dates have been ordered, and will be in the mail soon!

Sorry for all of the rambling and extremely long post today!

Thanks for stopping by!
