I could not have imagined a more amazing wedding day.  After months and months of planning, major melt downs, long nights, and all of the anticipation our wedding day finally arrived! And then in a blink of an eye it was already over.  I was so excited to get our pictures back so that I could relive our special day.  Our photographer did not disappoint!!! {Photo Cred: Josh Wilson Photography}

I may be a little biased but I LOVED how everything turned out.  There is no way that any of this would have been possible with out our family and our friends.  Everyone worked so hard to make sure we had the wedding of our dreams.  We are truly blessed with amazing friendships and loved ones!

We also were so thankful to have Crystal Williams from Crystal Williams Events and Dee Barnes step in as our wedding coordinators the day before our wedding.  We could not have done this without them!

Thanks for checking in!

Yep.. that is how long it has been since I have sat down on my cute little computer and logged into my blogger account.  I know I know.. it is just not acceptable!  I really have no excuse for the lack of blogging other than life has been getting in the way.

 Let me just give you a quick snip it of my life lately....

Wedding=Complete Success
 New Last Name= Loads of Paperwork
Home Renovations= New Passion Discovered
Move=Fun City Explorations
Marriage=Amazing New Adventure
Beginning of a New School Year=PURE EXHAUSTION

I guess you could say my life is just a little different than the last time I posted.  I cannot wait to catch you all up on EVERYTHING.  But... Since that would take one extremely long blog post, I will break it up for you.  First and foremost- WEDDING PICTURES!

Our wedding was beyond perfect and so much better than I could have even imagined.  So, yes maybe we got married in a hurricane, but that didn't even put a "damp"er on our day { <--- Did you see what I did there? ;) }

I have soooo many pictures I would like to share, so I think I will just do it in parts.  This first part will focus on the fashion, jewelry, and hair/makeup!

Heirlooms Finds | Jewelry
Blondies | Hair and Makeup
Cahaly's | Menswear
Adrianna Papell | Bridesmaid Dresses
Bridals By Lori | Wedding Dress
Valentino | Shoes

And a HUGE shout out to Josh Wilson Photography for the amazing pictures!

I would like to also especially thank Heirloom Finds for allowing me the opportunity to collaborate with them on creating a wedding collection.  It was so exciting working with them to pick out the jewelry for my bridesmaids and the jewelry I wore for my big day.  They were beyond patient with me as we went back and forth again and again in order to create the perfect look.  Even after everything was finalized and then I hit them with a challenge.  My grandmother passed away not to long before my wedding day, and I was given her bracelet to wear.  Heirloom Finds found the perfect pieces to match her bracelet.  They went above and beyond and truly made my day such a special one!

SOOOO.. In honor of being back in blogger business, AND as a huge thank you to the AMAZING Heirloom Finds.  I would like to host a giveaway...

Fake It Until You Make it!

For as long as I can remember I have been obsessed with good handwriting.  I am pretty sure that is the teacher that has always lived inside of me! She I have been practicing my handwriting and calligraphy skills for as long as I can remember.  Every Christmas I asked for new calligraphy pens to go with my set... and I am talking at like 6 years old this life long obsession started.  HOWEVER, that does not mean that I have the best handwriting! So.. when it came to addressing our Save The Dates, I practiced and practiced and practiced until my hand was stuck in the writing position.  Not pleased with my results I decided to FAKE IT!

That's right, I cheated! But I promise you, if you need to address a ton of envelopes, this is totally worth it and you won't have to pay someone hundreds of dollars to do it for you.

Okay so it's this easy!

Step 1:  Choose a font.  There are several free font websites that allow you to simply download any of their fonts for free! My favorites are dafont.com  and  fontsquirrel.com.  There are sooo many out there though so just google "free fonts" and take your pick.

Step 2: Format your printer to print on your envelope size.

Step 3: Start printing your addresses on your envelopes in the lightest grey you can find, but can still see in order to trace.  I have found that other lighter colors seem to pop through your pen color, but grey didn't.

Step 4: Take the amazing new pen you bought and trace over your printed addresses.

That's all folks!!

It is super easy, looks amazing, and saves you time and MONEY!
You can get as fancy as you want or as simple as you want depending on the font you choose.  I decided to go with simple since I had SO many to send out.  If you decided to take this route, send me a picture of your addressed envelopes and I will add them to this post! :)
